Who they are
Lucian is a grim wraith hunter who wields twin relic pistols infused with light magic. He was trained by his father Urias and later by his wife Senna, and became a Sentinel of Light protecting the living.
After Senna was killed and then resurrected, he came to lead a band of Sentinels against dark forces, especially the cursed king Viego and his Black Mist.
Their story belongs to Demacia. A proud kingdom behind high walls that fears magic.
Their story, step by step
- Step 1
Son of a Sentinel
Lucian grew up in Demacia wanting to join the Sentinels of Light like his father Urias, who tried to dissuade him to keep him safe. When Urias died in battle, his apprentice Senna brought the news. Lucian insisted on joining anyway.
- Step 2
Training and marriage
Senna trained him. They fell in love and married, each carrying a relic pistol.
- Step 3
Senna's death
The specter Thresh killed Senna and trapped her soul in his lantern. Lucian went after him with vengeance in mind.
- Step 4
The pursuit
His hunt took him to Bilgewater during the Harrowing, where he met Miss Fortune and Olaf while fighting the undead. He learned Senna's soul was still in the lantern and kept after Thresh across regions.
- Step 5
Freeing Senna
Lucian freed her soul and she returned to life. His anger did not fade, but together they turned to Viego and his Black Mist.
- Step 6
Leading the Sentinels
He and Senna lead the Sentinels and have recruited champions such as Diana, Graves and Vayne, traveling through Ixtal and Shurima for artifacts and allies. Wraiths killed Lucian in Shurima, but Akshan revived him.
