Twitch is a plague rat living in the undercity of Zaun, obsessed with gathering refuse he considers valuable. He fights with a chemtech crossbow and toxic concoctions.
He has vowed to show the people of Piltover how filthy they really are, calling them topside fools.
Their story belongs to Zaun. The smoggy undercity where unregulated science pushes back.

A rat in the sewers
Twitch is a plague rat born in Zaun. Little is recorded about his early life. He grew into a scavenger in the sewers who treasures garbage.
- Step 2
Sector 90TZ
In an industrial facility in the Sump, scientists were refining human waste into baby formula. Twitch attacked and killed most of the workers, reportedly because they were using his juice. Only two survivors, Ra Qintava and Valori Olant, were badly hurt and traumatized.

Investigation
H.I.V.E. response teams found only garbage among his belongings, and the case was recorded by investigator Agent P. Rol.

Who he is now
He sees himself as a connoisseur of the finer things, meaning Piltover's discarded items and sewage. He calls Piltover's people Topside fools and shows no regard for human life. He fights with a chemtech crossbow and toxic mixtures.

Zaun began as an ancient seafaring port sacred to Janna. Around 772 AN the site was drowned in a catastrophic excavation, and it was rebuilt as the undercity below Piltover.

Without rules, Zaun's alchemists pushed science further. Singed's Shimmer serum can enhance soldiers and also became a major illegal drug that drives the underground economy.

The Day of Ash and Silco
Vander and Silco led a failed uprising on the Day of Ash, and hundreds died. Silco then built a criminal empire on Shimmer until his adopted daughter Jinx killed him.

A fractured city
After Silco the Chembarons split, Piltover occupied the undercity, Noxus intervened and Viktor rose to prominence. Zaun is now represented in Piltover's politics, but the peace is uneasy.
