Who they are
Camille is the top operative of Clan Ferros, an elite spy and fixer who handles problems the clan wants solved quietly. Her body has been heavily augmented with hextech, including blade-like legs and grappling devices.
She pursues control and precision above all else, and the augmentations leave others wondering how much of the original woman remains.
Their story belongs to Piltover and also touches Zaun. The city of progress, built on top of the city it ignores.
Their story, step by step
- Step 1
Heir of the Ferros clan
Camille was born in Piltover to Rhodri and Gemma Ferros, whose family fortune came from harvesting hex-crystals from brackern in Shurima. Their motto is For family, will I give. As the eldest surviving child she had an excellent education, with many languages and skill at the cellovinna.
- Step 2
Loss
Augmented Zaunite thugs attacked Camille and her father to steal trade secrets, and he died of his wounds, with her mother following from grief. Her brother Stevan took over the clan and pushed its hextech augmentation research harder.
- Step 3
Hakim and the choice
Stevan hired the crystallographer Hakim Naderi, and Camille fell in love with him while preparing for her augmentation. Hakim proposed and urged her to run away with him. Stevan staged an attack on himself to show what divided loyalty costs, and Camille chose the family, ending things with Hakim.
- Step 4
Becoming a weapon
Hakim performed her surgery, putting a hextech heart in her chest before leaving. Over the decades she took on more augmentations, including blade legs and grapple hips, and her hextech heart stopped her aging. She became the Ferros clan's top intelligencer and took on increasingly dark jobs.
- Step 5
Taking control
She eventually saw that Stevan's schemes no longer served the family and let go of her fondness for him. She installed her grand-niece as clan master and took charge of both the public and secret business.
- Step 6
Jhin and the Convergence
On an assassination job in Zaun that touched Ferros business, she met Jhin, and the lore does not give the outcome. During the Convergence she investigated the Poingdestre chemobarons' use of Ferros crystals, fought young Ekko, then deduced the presence of Future Ekko and agreed to work with them against Jinx. Future Ekko revealed a plan to destroy both the Syntixi reserves and the Ferros crystal vaults, which horrified her.
