Who they are
Talon rose from Noxus's harsh streets through theft and fighting until General Marcus Du Couteau defeated and adopted him. He became the General's favored protégé and a swift, efficient killer for Noxian leadership.
His loyalty to his adoptive family drives him, and also leads him into conflict and betrayal.
Their story belongs to Noxus. An empire that rewards strength, wherever it comes from.
Their story, step by step
- Step 1
Street thief
Talon came out of Noxus's rough streets with no memory of his birth family. He survived by theft and blade skill. When assassins were sent after him, he killed them all.
- Step 2
Marcus Du Couteau
General Marcus Du Couteau challenged him to a duel and won, then offered him death or service. Talon accepted on the condition that he served only Marcus, since he respected only those he could not beat.
- Step 3
Adopted into the family
Marcus adopted Talon alongside his daughters Katarina and Cassiopeia. As his favoured student, Talon believed he should inherit the family daggers, and became fiercely loyal to the house.
- Step 4
Conspiracy
Marcus had Talon help him fake his death, a secret that lasted years. Talon acted as a loving brother to Katarina while working against her, and once tried to kill her, scarring her eye. He then tried to turn her against Swain.
- Step 5
Final clash
When Katarina found out his part in Marcus's deception, they fought and she wounded his right eye. Talon's loyalty to the family had cost him his sister.

Where their story stands now
Talon lives in Shurima and sees Swain as a tyrant who corrupted Katarina and the house. Whether he seeks revenge, reconciliation or more service to Noxus is unresolved.
