Who they are
Smolder is a fledgling heir to the Camavoran imperial dragon line, living on the Noxian cliffsides. His mother guides him in his ancestry and abilities.
Playful and eager to grow, he dreams of becoming a dragon strong enough to usher in a new era for Camavor.
Their story belongs to Noxus. An empire that rewards strength, wherever it comes from.
Their story, step by step
- Step 1
Imperial dragon heir
Smolder, whose full name is Ignacarious Gigantareno Rex Le Spes Offerentis, descends from Camavor's imperial dragons. The line began with Grandmother Viper and was bound to the royal family by an old pact. When the Ruination struck the kingdom, the Black Mist corrupted most of them, but his mother survived.

Taken and lost
While his mother hunted, Noxian beastmasters captured the hatchling to sell. She destroyed their ship, but the ocean carried Smolder away to a remote island near Noxus.
- Step 3
Marinos
Alone and hungry, Smolder met a human boy named Marinos, who looked after him, gave him his nickname and taught him to speak. Marinos told him stories of great dragons and hid him from passing Noxians.

Reunion
As Marinos grew up and started a family, he visited less. Smolder practised fire-breathing alone and accidentally burned part of a forest. The fire drew his mother, who had searched for him for decades, and she took him to the Noxian cliffsides.
