Zoe

Their story, step by step

1. Step 1

   A Rakkor girl

Zoe was born long ago among the Rakkor of Mount Targon. As a teenager she was bright and bubbly but also stubborn, naughty and easily distracted, and she gave her teachers headaches.

2. Step 2

   Host of Twilight

At some point she was chosen to host the Aspect of Twilight. Her body stopped aging around her mid-teens, and she gained celestial powers over stars and energy, as well as the ability to cross between places.

3. Step 3

   The Darkin war era

The earlier host of Twilight, Myisha, took part in the effort against the Darkin during the great war. The Aspects gave mortals tools to trap remaining Darkin, and the Darkin hate the Aspects, Zoe included, for it.

4. Step 4

   Cosmic messenger

Today Zoe acts as Targon's messenger, announcing events that reshape the world. Her presence bends reality and can cause disasters without her meaning to, and she spends much of her time on pranks.

Turning points

• Being chosen as host of the Aspect of Twilight
• Inheriting the Darkin's enmity as an Aspect

Where their story stands now

Zoe still wanders as the Aspect's messenger, playing games while her presence distorts the world around her. Her ultimate purpose is left vague in the lore.

As the celestial cycles shift, the conflict between Solari and Lunari has flared up again, and Diana and Leona sit on opposite sides of it.
