What it is
Mount Targon is the tallest peak in Runeterra, west of Shurima. It is almost impossible to climb, and those few who reach the summit are transformed.
Celestial beings called Aspects live in Targon Prime, a realm beyond Runeterra, and occasionally choose mortal hosts to carry their power.

The mountain and its peoples
The Rakkor live in cave settlements, herding and foraging. The Solari and Lunari are two religious factions; the Solari have dominated and persecuted the Lunari into hiding.
- Step 2
The Aspects
The Aspects live in Targon Prime and choose mortal hosts. Pantheon, Diana, Leona, Zoe and Taric each carry the power of one.
- Step 3
Shurima and the Darkin war
Ancient Shurima governed Targon and received the knowledge to create Ascended warriors. In the Great Darkin War the Aspect of Twilight helped defeat the corrupted Ascended.
- Step 4
Sun against moon
As the celestial cycles shift, the conflict between Solari and Lunari has flared up again, and Diana and Leona sit on opposite sides of it.
