Who they are
Milio is a 12-year-old prodigy from Ixtal who discovered a new axiom of fire, soothing flames, which heals rather than destroys. He travels with friendly fire elementals called fuemigos.
He is heading for the capital Ixaocan to join the Yun Tal and restore his family's honor, tarnished by his grandaunt's imprisonment.
Their story belongs to Ixtal. Elemental mages hiding behind a wall of shifting jungle.
Their story, step by step
- Step 1
A family in exile
Milio's grandmother Lupé and her twin Luné both sought to join Ixtal's elite Yun Tal. Luné was jailed for plotting treason, and the whole family was punished by exile to remote jungle villages. Milio was born there.
- Step 2
Lessons that did not fit
Lupé, a master of earth, trained him in elemental magic, but he chafed at strict discipline. She gave up on his formal training and would not teach him fire because of her resentment toward her sister.
- Step 3
Soothing flames
Milio found an injured village huntress and, trying to help, sensed the inner flame in living things. From that he made a new kind of fire that heals, along with friendly fire elementals called fuemigos. Lupé saw a chance to restore the family's honor and began teaching him again.
- Step 4
The road to Ixaocan
At twelve he set out for Ixaocan with his fuemigos in a special backpack. Along the way he healed a pakaa and met Nidalee, who let him travel with her pack and called him fire bug. He kept his distance from Zyra and Malphite, and met the shapeshifter Neeko, who pranked him and became a friend.
- Step 5
Arrival
He reached Ixaocan and began preparing for the Vidalion, the trial for Yun Tal membership. Stories of his journey have spread, and Luné has heard them.

Where their story stands now
Milio is in Ixaocan preparing for the Vidalion. Whether he passes is open, as is what Luné will do now that she knows of him. He seems unaware of the family politics around him.
