What it is
Zephras Isle is the home of the Skyborne, a new playable people presented by Blizzard as windswept elves whose once-secluded island now faces an existential threat.
The island matters because it gives Forever a new beginning without discarding its older continents. Skyborne players can enter the world through the Horde-aligned Windshapers or the Alliance-aligned High Order.
For a new reader, use Zephras Isle as a prologue: it introduces the idea that Forever expands original Azeroth from its edges inward.
Because Forever has not launched, Blizzard has only established the island's premise, factions and threat. The guide therefore treats its exact antagonist and later consequences as open rather than filling the gap with Classic-era assumptions.
