Who they are
Ciri is the central person everyone tries to define: family, emperors and the Wild Hunt all see a use for her power or lineage. Wild Hunt works when her own choices remain at the center.
CD PROJEKT RED has announced her as the protagonist of The Witcher 4, so her story connects Geralt's trilogy to a new game rather than ending at one possible Wild Hunt outcome.
Their story belongs to Kaer Morhen and also touches Skellige and The White Frost and The New Witcher Saga. The ruined school where Geralt's found family and Ciri's training begin.
Their story, step by step
- Step 1
Flee those who would own her
Ciri's Elder Blood and imperial lineage make her valuable to people who see power before they see a person.
- Step 2
Learn to choose her own path
Her training with Geralt and Yennefer gives her skills, but the heart of her story is refusing to let either prophecy or family decide her future for her.
- Step 3
What their choices leave behind
Ciri's next saga is confirmed, while its specific conflicts remain open; her profile therefore preserves agency without inventing its outcome.
Turning points
- Becoming Geralt and Yennefer's adopted daughter.
- Escaping the Wild Hunt and political claimants.
- Taking the lead in the announced new saga.
