What happens in the game
The Cult manipulates both sides and treats Kassandra's bloodline as access to Isu power. Family choices determine who can be reconciled at the end.
The modern story follows Layla to Atlantis, where knowledge preserved by Kassandra becomes part of the ongoing struggle over Isu technology.
The story, step by step
A family scattered
Kassandra's mercenary journey begins with the mystery of a Spartan family broken by prophecy and political pressure. Nikolaos, Myrrine, Deimos and the protagonist's choices make reunion or further tragedy possible.
The Cult of Kosmos
The Cult manipulates Athens and Sparta while exploiting war to preserve influence. Hunting its branches reveals that neither city-state owns the conflict's moral center and that family blood is being pursued for its Isu connection.
Atlantis and the long watch
Beyond the variable family ending, Kassandra confronts mythical beings linked to Isu artifacts and receives the Staff of Hermes. She survives for millennia to pass it to Layla, binding the ancient odyssey to the modern search.
What the story is really about
Family is an outcome of choices
Kinship creates obligations but not guaranteed reconciliation. Mercy, dialogue and violence accumulate into different households.
War hides private systems of profit
The Cult thrives across official sides, treating patriotic division as a resource rather than a cause.
How it ends
The Cult is dismantled, but Kassandra's family outcome varies; she takes responsibility for guarding the Staff of Hermes across centuries.
What changes afterward
- The conflict predates the formal Hidden Ones but establishes older resistance to organized control.
- Kassandra directly connects the ancient world to Layla's present.
How it connects forward
Origins occurs centuries later and turns resistance into the organized Hidden Ones.
