Fallout: New Vegas ends at the Second Battle of Hoover Dam. The result depends on the path you followed: NCR, Caesar's Legion, Mr. House or Yes Man's independent New Vegas. Your ending is also shaped by your reputation, your quests with minor factions and whether you saved or killed key characters such as President Kimball.

Mr. House ending

Mr. House ending: the Securitron army wins the battle and House rules New Vegas as a private city-state. The city is rich and orderly, but it is controlled by one man's will.

What it means

New Vegas is about the cost of order. Every faction offers a solution to the Mojave's chaos, and each solution has victims. The Courier's final choice is what kind of future they can live with.
