outcome

Sigurd gives up leadership, Ravensthorpe is thriving and the Order of the Ancients in England has been broken. Eivor spends her last years in Vinland in conversation with Odin.

What it means

The game argues that fate and free will are two parts of the same story: Eivor, Basim and Sigurd repeat roles from old myths but make their own decisions. It closes the Layla storyline with a trap rather than a victory, leaving the series open.
