Odyssey ends with the Cult of Kosmos destroyed, the hero's family either reunited or broken, and the Staff of Hermes handed to Layla Hassan. The ending depends mostly on what you choose to do with Nikolaos, Deimos and Aspasia, but the main events are the same in every playthrough.

The Cult is dismantled and Deimos is either redeemed or killed. Aspasia lives or dies depending on the player's decision. The hero meets Pythagoras, receives the Staff and becomes its Keeper; in 2018 they pass it on to Layla.

What it means

Odyssey is about choosing your own family and your own fate. The hero is cast away by prophecy and ends up deciding who deserves forgiveness. The final message is balance: the hero tells Layla that neither Assassin nor Templar ideals should dominate.
