Brotherhood ends with Ezio's victory over Cesare Borgia and a shocking twist in the present: Lucy's betrayal and Juno's control of Desmond. The game closes the Borgia arc and opens the Juno arc.

Ezio hides the Apple under the Colosseum. Cesare is dead and the Brotherhood is restored in Rome. Lucy dies by Desmond's blade, and Desmond falls into a coma.

What it means

The game is about building something to last. Ezio's work as Mentor is to create an organisation, while Desmond learns that trust can be a weapon.
